I had a problem with the turbo actuator on my sprinter and called most turbo service and repair places in Brisbane, only to be told that I would need a new turbo. Needless to say that I was not happy. After calling Kaye at Eastern Turbo Charger Services I was offered a new, re-manufactured actuator which I received in less than two days. The Actuator that Kaye sent (express air freight included in purchase) is better than OEM! Make no mistake this is the best actuator you can buy.
I would highly recommend to anyone with actuator problems to send their turbo to Eastern Turbo charger services to check the VNT mechanism and to calibrate the new actuator to the Turbo.
If you are not familiar or you don’t know how to check the actuator angle you will most likely damage the actuator and end up back here with a one-star rating, claiming or blaming a faulty actuator.
